Orioles optioned INF Steve Lombardozzi to Triple-A Norfolk. Lombardozzi started 13 straight games at second base for the Orioles at one point this season, but Jonathan Schoop has since taken over the position. Lombardozzi got the boot Thursday to clear a roster spot for Manny Machado, who was activated from the disabled list.
