Orioles designated INF/OF Yamaico Navarro for assignment. Navarro was batting .254/.357/.353 in 207 plate appearances and had committed 13 errors in the field this season at Triple-A Norfolk. The 25-year-old utilityman seems likely to make it through waivers.
