Norris and the Orioles agreed to a $8.8 million deal for 2015, avoiding arbitration, the Baltimore Sun's Dan Connolly reports. Norris, who turns 30 in March, settled for below the midpoint of what he was looking for ($10.25 million) and what the Orioles initially offered ($7.5 million). Considering he made $5.3 million in 2014, this should still be considered a success for Norris. He should be assured of a spot at the back of the Orioles' rotation in 2015, but his ERA will probably be closer to 4.00 than 3.00, and he should be reserved for deeper mixed leagues and AL-only formats.
