Negron went 0-for-2 after replacing the injured Zack Cozart at shortstop in Sunday's loss to the Braves. Negron could be in line to start for the Reds when the resume play on Tuesday against the Pirates. After that series, they face the White Sox on the road, meaning that he could also be in consideration for a DH slot (or one that results in one of the Reds' regulars getting a DH day), though they might just use Devin Mesoraco for all three games there.
