Morse had a rough start to the season, injuring his hamstring right before the end of spring training. After a couple of rehab starts in the minors, Morse was called up to the Giants on April 26. Since then, the 35-year-old has been mostly limited to pinch-hitting opportunities and the occasional start while Brandon Belt gets most of the playing time at first.
