Morrison (wrist) will undergo surgery Wednesday to repair the sheath in his injured left wrist, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Morrison received the diagnosis last week, and while the tear in the sheath is relatively minor, Morrison will face a 12-week recovery timetable. Barring any setbacks, he should have no trouble returning to full strength well before the start of the 2017 season. Just where he'll be suiting up in 2017 remains to be seen, however, as he'll enter the offseason as a free agent.
