Miley was knocked out of Wednesday's game early, as he gave up seven runs on five hits and three walks in just 2.1 innings against the Nationals. The Nats got to him for a couple in the first inning, but they really went to work in the third, scoring six runs off the combination of Miley and reliever Anthony Varvaro. Miley's first start of the year went pretty well, but he's had a career-long tendency to intersperse generally solid pitching with horrendous blowups like this one that leave his final line looking a bit too crooked for standard fantasy formats.
