Miley allowed two runs on six hits, walking one and striking out six over 7.1 innings of a 4-2 win against Oakland on Friday night. After posting a horrible 8.62 ERA in April, Miley (5-5, 4.67 ERA) was cruising through May until stumbling in his last outing against the Rangers. It was encouraging to see him get back on track in this one, and the disappointing Red Sox will hope he can build on it as the season moves forward.
