Miley allowed six runs (five earned) on nine hits and two walks while striking out two in Saturday night's loss to the Rangers. The left-hander had won three straight starts before losing Saturday. Miley didn't make pitches when he needed to, but he was mostly let down by poor defense and uninspired play from his teammates. As the Red Sox churn the roster, Miley's job appears to be safe, but this was the third time in 10 starts he's failed to pitch past the fourth inning.
