Masterson will move back into Boston's rotation and is slated to start on Sunday, Gordon Edes of ESPN Boston reports. The Red Sox optioned the struggling Joe Kelly on Thursday, opening up a spot in their rotation for Masterson. He is 2-2 on the season with a 6.37 ERA over seven starts this season, but has not taken the mound since May 12.
