Manager Walt Weiss anticipates that Arenado (illness) will return this season, despite Tuesday's revelation that he is dealing with early-onset pneumonia, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports. "He had some fluid in his lungs," Weiss said of the third baseman. "But I think we'll see him again this season." The diagnosis of the illness was something of a surprise for Arenado, who underwent an MRI and CT scan on Monday for a suspected rib injury. He remained away from the team Tuesday to rest, and doesn't appear likely to play for the next several days. The Rockies will see how he progresses during that time before determining whether he's fit for a return to action during the final week of the season. Charlie Culberson and Rafael Ynoa figure see most of the duties at third base while Arenado remains unavailable.
