Manager Ned Yost indicated that Gordon may sit for Thursday's against the White Sox, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports. Gordon proposed absence doesn't sound to be injure-related, especially given that he's in the lineup Wednesday. However, it's worth noting that he could receive regular days off here and there this season.
