Lynn (forearm) played catch Tuesday for the first time since being placed on the DL, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports. As expected, Lynn began his throwing program Tuesday, and he's expected to continue to throw throughout the week. Lynn is only expected to miss two starts, and the current plan calls for him to meet up with the team in Philadelphia this weekend. His stint on the DL was backdated to June 8, meaning he'll be eligible to pitch as early as June 23, when the Cards begin a three-game set with the Marlins in Miami.
