Lynn allowed three runs on four hits, walking six and striking out two over 3.1 innings, but came away with a no-decision in the Cardinals 8-3 loss to the Cubs on Friday afternoon.

Another poor performance from Lynn who has struggled as the season winds down. He has now walked 27 in 43 innings since the beginning of August and may simply be out of gas. He has a history of wearing down later in the year, and it wouldn't be surprising if we see the Cardinals try to limit his workload over the final days prior to the playoffs.
