Longoria is suffering from a bruised hip and is considered day-to-day, Roger Mooney of The Tampa Tribune reports. Longoria was hit by a pitch late in Thursday's game, finishing the contest 1-for-3. Fortunately for owners, it appears his removal was precautionary, and he'll likely rejoin the lineup within the next few days.
