Lincecum (hip) will throw a simulated game in Arizona before the Angels determine his next step, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports.

Lincecum could be sent to Triple-A Salt Lake after the simulation in order to receive a couple starts, but no official plan has been released yet. General manager Billy Eppler said earlier in the week that he anticipates Lincecum will be ready to return to the big leagues by the middle of June.
