Kennedy had his second straight poor start on Sunday versus the Nationals, surrendering six runs on three hits and four walks in five innings. The 30-year-old cruised through four innings before allowing a three-run home run in the fifth and running into more trouble in the sixth, when he allowed three more runs before being pulled from the game. Kennedy now owns a disappointing 6.75 ERA through 29.1 innings and will face another challenge in his next start, which will come against the Dodgers on Saturday.
