Kemp went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run Friday against Arizona. He's now hit leadoff in three straight games, and he's collected three hits in the last two. The idea here is for Kemp to see more fastballs and more strikes so that he can find some rhythm at the plate. It's too soon to say that this move has truly lifted Kemp out of the slump that's occupied most of his season, but he's at least been better in June than he was in May.
