Kazmir (4-3) struck out a dozen Reds over six innings Wednesday, allowing just one run on four hits and two walks in a 3-1 victory.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a forgettable first two months for Kazmir, who couldn't even hold it down in San Diego his last time out and came in with a 5.23 ERA, but a matchup with the sad-sack Reds offense was just what the doctor ordered. The Cubs won't be so easy when he makes his next start on Tuesday.
