Justin Christian has elected free agency. The 32-year-out outfielder slashed a stellar .343/.409/.508 with seven homers, 35 RBI and 12 steals in 72 games for Triple-A Fresno in 2012, but struggled in his limited time with the Giants. He'll likely have to accept a minor league deal with the chance to compete for a reserve outfielder role in spring training.
