Johnson (elbow) was placed on the 15-day DL, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Johnson threw a bullpen session last week for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery 11 months ago. The 31-year-old appears to be on track to return to major league action around the end of May or beginning of June.
