J.D. Drew (finger) was scheduled to swing a bat Friday, but he is now dealing with a neck issue. Drew was originally placed on the disabled list in late-July with a left shoulder impingement, but suffered a fractured right middle finger while on a minor league rehab assignment. It's not yet clear if his latest setback is a major one, but the Red Sox obviously can't count on his return anytime soon.
