Jansen struck out one during a perfect ninth inning to earn his first save of the season on Sunday against the Rockies. It was originally stated that Jansen would not be thrust into the closer's role immediately upon his return from foot surgery, but this was just his second appearance so the team must be comfortable with where he is at physically. The 27-year-old struggled a bit during his rehab stint, but has racked up five strikeouts in two innings pitched since his return and has not allowed a baserunner. Now that Jansen is back in the ninth inning role for L.A., he is set to reclaim his place among the top fantasy closer's in the game.
