Jackson (knee) isn't close to beginning a rehab assignment, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.

Jackson rejoined the White Sox on Saturday, but it appears that was just for an evaluation rather than a final check-up. He's still beginning to ease his way back into baseball activities and may be trending toward a September activation at this point. Jackson has been sidelined since early June with the knee injury.
