In a clash of former Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles teammates, Iwakuma dropped the decision to Masahiro Tanaka. Iwakuma has yet find his groove this season and now has a 4.50 ERA and 12:4 K:BB through 18 innings and three starts. He'll look for a better result next Saturday when the M's head to Anaheim to take on the Angels.
