Infante (oblique) was left off the Royals' World Series roster, MLB.com reports.

The Royals sent Infante to Arizona recently gauge his progress from a Grade 1 oblique strain, and apparently the injury is still limiting him to a large extent. Raul Mondesi, 20, was added to the roster to provide infield depth behind Ben Zobrist and Alcides Escobar.
