Indians signed LHP Clay Rapada to a minor league contract; assigned him to Triple-A Columbus. Rapada was released by the Yankees on June 4 after posting a 4.66 ERA and 1.76 WHIP in 9 2/3 innings of relief at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He will function as organizational relief depth for the Tribe.
