Indians claimed LHP Scott Maine off waivers from the Cubs. Maine was designated for assignment by the Cubbies last week after posting a 4.79 ERA and 26/12 K/BB ratio over 20 2/3 innings at the major league level this year. Lefty batters are just 3-for-23 (.130) off him this year, so he could be a useful bullpen piece moving forward.
