Hughes (knee) is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Friday, Phil Miller of the Star Tribune reports.

X-rays taken on Hughes' left knee came back negative Thursday, but given that he took a comebacker clocked at well over 100 miles per, the Twins will do their due diligence Friday to determine whether there is any other damage. He is considered day-to-day at this point, but Friday's MRI should provide a clearer picture on his status moving forward.
