Harrison's ankle injury isn't considered overly serious, as the third baseman "caught himself" before rolling it, Bill Brink of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Harrison dealt with multiple ankle injuries in 2014, but the infielder seems to be insinuating that this ailment is minor in nature compared to those injuries. The Pirates will likely take it easy with Harrison in the short term, but if his statement holds true, he should be able to return to action well before the end of spring training. Pittsburgh will likely take an extended look at a few of their younger infield options until Harrison is ready to return to the lineup.
