Guillermo Moscoso has elected free agency. The 30-year-old right-hander was designated for assignment on Wednesday and refused an assignment to the minor leagues. He appeared in 13 games with the Giants in 2013, posting a 5.10 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 31/21 K/BB ratio over 30 innings of work. With the ability to start and work in relief, there should be suitors willing to let him compete for a roster spot.
