Griffin (elbow) will throw to hitters Saturday morning, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. Griffin began incorporating all of his pitches into his bullpen sessions a little over two weeks ago, and is now set to face live hitters for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery. It marks an important step in his recovery, but keep in mind that Griffin is still less than a year removed from the procedure and the team will likely want him to throw several live sessions before even thinking about a rehab assignment.
