Griffin (elbow) is currently projected to return to the A's in June, reports Jane Lee of MLB.com. Griffin is pleased with his progression and will begin throwing bullpen sessions this week, but is clearly a decent ways away from contributing to the A's, even assuming no setbacks. It remains to be seen what Griffin will slide into when he does return, but the A's will likely monitor his workload very closely no matter the role.
