Griffin (5-1) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five over 4.2 innings, but received no decision Tuesday against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Griffin gave up a pair of runs in both the first and third innings, and ended up leaving the contest with a 5-1 deficit, but the offense came up big in the late innings to take him off the hook for a potential loss. After doing so three times early in the year, he's failed to post a quality start in any of his last 10 outings, and he now owns a 4.38 ERA on the year. After posting a 3.06 ERA in 2012, he's now seen his ERA increase in each of the last two seasons. He'll make his next start Sunday against the Tigers.
