Gordon, who was placed on the 15-day DL Thursday with a Grade 3 left groin strain, is expected to miss eight weeks. This is the timetable the Royals are offering, but considering Lorenzo Cain missed three months with the same injury in 2012, Gordon could very easily miss the rest of the regular season. Look for the Royals to trade for Gordon's replacement and for Jarrod Dyson and Paulo Orlando to fill-in in left field for now.
