Gordon was 3-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base in a losing effort against the Dodgers on Friday night. He has 110 hits (a lofty .356 average) which easily leads baseball, and 26 stolen bases while hitting at the top of the order in front of the major league leader in home runs, Giancarlo Stanton, yet amazingly he has scored a mediocre 39 runs. To put that in perspective, 44 players have scored more runs. Obviously, that somehow doesn't quite seem to add up, so if he can keep getting on base, owners should expect to see a spike in runs scored at some point as the season progresses.
