Goldschmidt hit his third home run of the season (a two-run shot) while going 2-for-4 Wednesday in a 3-2 loss to the Padres. Goldschmidt's homer was an opposite field blast off starter Brandon Morrow in the first inning, but unfortunately the D-Backs wouldn't score again in this one. Goldschmidt is showing in the early going that he is fully recovered from the broken wrist that ended his season early in 2014, posting a .344/.447/.656 line through 38 plate appearances.
