Giants purchased the contract of INF Tony Abreu from Triple-A Fresno. Abreu was given his release from the Giants just a few days ago, but with the recent injuries to Marco Scutaro and Ehire Adrianza, he finds his way quickly back to the organization and on the big league roster. He'll share time at second base with Dan Uggla for the time being.
