Gennett went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer run in the first inning Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Gennett's first-inning blast off of Chase Anderson was all the Brewers needed to get up early and then close out the game. He now has 14 homers and 54 RBIs on the season, which aren't great numbers but are respectable for a second-baseman. He has hit safely in seven of his last eight games and is batting over .300 for the month of September.
