Gallardo suffered the loss in Sunday's start against the Padres, allowing one run on six hits and four walks in 5.2 innings. The righty pitched well enough to win, but Tyson Ross was even better on the day and the Texas offense was held in check. Gallardo had a great first half of the season, with a 2.62 ERA and seven wins to his name, and he will look to continue his strong campaign after the All-Star break.
