Floyd (elbow) who had a bullpen session cut short Wednesday due to general soreness in his right arm will have his throwing program adjusted by the team's medical staff, MLB.com reports. "We just want to make sure that he's built to last and not just to make his first few starts, because that's not fair to him. ... Because of what he's been through, giving him a couple days to let the trainers do their thing, things like that, I think really sets him up to, when he does move along now, you don't have the bumps in the road. And, if those things happen, we're willing to [adjust]," manager Terry Francona said. Floyd and the Indians aren't going to hesitate to pull back a bit even if it means he's not ready for the start of the regular season as a result. There's still a lot of time left for Floyd to ramp back up if he can get back on the mound next week.
