Fister will start Game 3 of the NLDS against the Giants on Monday. As expected, the Nationals will start Stephen Strasburg and Jordan Zimmermann in Games 1 and 2, respectively, with Fister to follow Monday. Nothing's official, but he'll likely oppose Giants ace Madison Bumgarner, who threw a complete game, four-hit shutout against the Pirates in Wednesday's NL Wild Card game. In two starts against San Francisco during the regular season, Fister gave up just four earned runs on 15 hits and two walks over 13 innings (2.77 ERA).
