Fernandez (elbow) will move his rehab to Triple-A New Orleans on Wednesday, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports.
Fernandez struggled in his first rehab outing at High-A Jupiter, but was outstanding in his second appearance with the club, tossing five shutout innings and striking out four batters. He's expected to throw around 75 to 80 pitches in Wednesday's start, and will likely build up to around the 100 mark before his activation from the DL comes. He's on schedule to make his season debut for the Marlins in the first week of July.
Gonna take awhile for all those rooks to put up the kind if numbers you expect on a consistent basis. I have all on at least one of my four teams, except Correa, who I jettisoned pretty quickly not willing to wait. I picked up Fernandez in at least three of my drafts and just resolved to keep him DLed, which was tough a few times, but when he went down so long ago, he was dealing the best stuff if any SP I saw at the time. He is worth the wait.
Oh i know Gallo, burxton and correa as well as Lindor are riding by bench in most leagues i would expect another 3-5 weeks before they truly produce and if they are a ready for the bigs we will find out. I also have him on my DL. Because as a mets fan watching his stuff was ridiculous. He usually gets run support as well so its a no brainer
So when someone asks you who threw the pitch that Roger Maris belted for his 61st HR, you just laugh and say, "Tracy Stallard. Give me something hard."
Right?
Maybe I can get you in one of my leagues someday and see how well you BRING IT on the fantasy diamond!

My teams are coming together nicely. I drafted Bryant, Gallo, correa and Burxton when I could and always added this guy after the draft

Plus his is arguably the most pitcher-friendly park in the Bigs.
Your team names suggest you are a long-time MLB fan?

Keep tracking the kid. He's been on my minor-league radar two years and will make history.:)
