Federowicz was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports. Federowicz is coming off yet another excellent season at Triple-A, but his .328 batting average and 14 homers over 78 games likely owes a huge debt of gratitude to the favorable parks of the PCL. His offensive production has never translated during multiple cups of coffee in the majors, and for that reason, he'll be little more than an insurance option behind A.J. Ellis and Drew Butera in September.
