Estrada (back) was activated from the disabled list and will start Friday against the Mariners.

Back soreness cost Estrada a couple turns in the rotation but he's been cleared to toe the rubber Friday opposite James Paxton. The back issue has been something Estrada's had to manage really since spring training, but it's been impossible to tell by the way he's pitched as the 33-year-old is putting together a career year (2.93 ERA, 0.99 WHIP). He's been excellent at home this season, posting a 2.44 ERA and .151 BAA in eight starts.
