Eovaldi allowed three runs on eight hits with a walk and a strikeout in 5.1 innings of Friday's loss to the Red Sox. Eovaldi had his moments in this one, hitting 101 mph in the first inning, but also had trouble with his control at points with two wild pitches and a hit batsman. He was spared the loss thanks to Chase Headley's two-out ninth inning home run, and figures to get his next start Wednesday against the Orioles.
