Duda went 3-for-5 with two homers, three RBI and two runs scored in a 4-3 loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Duda was the Mets' offense on Tuesday, launching a solo shot off David Buchanan in the fourth and then bringing New York within one with a two-run blast off Phillies closer Ken Giles in the ninth. He has simply been on fire over the last five games, and a day off against the Reds Sunday and the team's travel day on Monday did nothing to dampen his scorching bat. Duda now has five homers in his last three contests, with an amazing 13 RBI over that span. He is hitting .529 (9-for-17) during his current five-game hitting streak, and appears ready to help spearhead the Mets offense in the postseason.
