Drew agreed to a one-year, $3 million contract with the Nationals on Tuesday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
He barely pushed his average back above the Mendoza Line in 2015, batting just .201 despite a career-best 85.7 percent contact rate. Drew has been unlucky the past two seasons with balls in play, and he still has significant pop for a middle infielder entering his age-33 season, but he figures to open the year in a reserve role with the Nats. Further, he's lost shortstop eligibility in many formats after making 15 appearances at the position in 2015.
