Dickerson said Wednesday that he's still feeling the effects of plantar fasciitis in his left foot, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports. "It hurts every time I run," Dickerson said. "But it's not enough to keep me from playing. I think I can still make plays and hit." Dickerson's positive outlook seems to be backed up by his batting line, which he improved to an excellent .317/.355/.548 after singling twice in Wednesday's loss to the Angels. Unsurprisingly, however, Dickerson seems to have abandoned the idea of being aggressive on the bases, as he's tried just one steal this season after going 8-for-15 on his attempts in 2014. While last season's paltry success rate probably didn't have many fantasy owners counting on Dickerson for more than moderate production in that category, he likely can't be relied upon as even a token threat on the bases while he nurses the injury. The soon-to-be 26-year-old acknowledged that the plantar fasciitis is something he'll probably have to manage all season.
