David Pauley elected free agency. He allowed seven runs over 6 1/3 innings during his brief stint with the Jays. The Blue Jays designated Pauley for assignment earlier this month. Once he cleared waivers, he asked for his walking papers. Pauley has been DFA'd three times already this season, twice by the Angels and once by the Jays. He'll latch on with another organization on a minor league deal.
